Not sure what to say?

As the angels greeted my former Italian pastor, Fr. Santoro, Of Holy Rosary parish today and Dr. Pecchia, I was saddened to learn that Dr. Pecchia's sister, Adeline, my former supervisor, passed away last December. Adeline was highly intelligent and I remember her presence kept us all on our toes in the Dept. of Agricultural Engineering at the Univ. of Minn! I know she is missed also. Now my mom is playing bridge on a regular basis and so I'm reminded of Adeline! Please accept my sympathies...

When I was newly married in 1968, my husband and I moved to the Twin Cities and needed to find a dentist. A nursing school friend (wife of Steve Lolich who I think went to school with the Pecchia's up on the range) recommended Dr. Pecchia and he was our dentist until he retired. My favorite memory is hearing him whistle as he worked. He was a good man.

To the family of Dr. Pecchia:
Dr. Pecchia was my childhood Dentist, along with my two sisters. He also was my parents Dentist and my Aunt & Uncle and Grandmother's. I will never forget how nice he was to children, how he could easily distract you, sing to us, call us sweetie, talk so calmly to a little kid and just made going to the Dentist not a scarey thing! He was great and always so friendly to us.
We talk about him often.
I am sorry for your loss.

Jill and Tina,
The legacy of Trollhagen Drive lives in your mom, your Dad, Carole and our own "Jimmy" (Lindstrom). The flood of memories of your Dad warms me from my head to my toes. He was so abosultely wonderful. From the stain glass designs, to his initials in my sealants to my own pierced ears, he has left a mark on my soul that has made me the person I am today. It was so much fun to hear our parents laughing in the yard, or Audrey and Carole on the phone. To watch our Dad's walk...

We have lost a treasure with the passing of Dr. P. Three generations of Minors enjoyed the humor and gentleness of the man, who would break into song at any moment. He could predict the exact second the novocaine would "ping" your gums; such was his craftsmanship. He loved his family, his work, and his airplanes. May he fly with the eagles.

TO THE FAMILY OF DR. PECCHIA,

I AM SORRY TO HAVE HEARD OF THE LOSS OF DR. JAMES PECCHIA.

DR. PECCHIA WAS MY CHILDHOOD DENTIST.

HE WAS THE MOST GENTLE DENTIST I KNEW.

I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF JIM.

HE TOOK THE FEAR OUT OF VISITING THE DENTIST, BECAUSE HE ALWAYS HAD SOME KIND OF TOY FOR US KIDS.

MY SYMPATHY TO YOU ALL.

To the Pecchia family,
I was sorry to learn of Adeline's brother passing. I remember Adeline (my supervisor in the '70's) speaking about Jim; therefore, I felt like I knew him, too. I will keep Adeline's family in my prayers and hope the comfort of family and friends will help you all through this difficult time. God bless -
Judy

I am sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I've thought about both Jim and Audrey over the years. I've known them since the 1950s and worked for Jim for a couple of years in his Dale office. My best to the family.
