We still think of you. "Little Jimmy Peek" as Shawn so fondly and often speaks of you. Gone too soon but not forgotten

Dear Peek Family
I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. It has been many years since I have seen Jim but I have kept up with him through Shawn at various times. I enjoyed working with Jim and his friendship when he was on the Banking staff that I used for my business (U.S. Sport Sales in Hurst). Just know that my thoughts and prayers go out to your family in this trying time.

Dear Sue and family-I got to know Jim some 20 years ago and it was like I had meet a childhood friend. Jim had never lost the ability to "play" like we did when we were all kids. Playing golf, going fishing at the coast or just eating lunch with him was like being at that uncomplicated time of my life when I was 10 years old. Your loss is felt by all. God bless you and Jim.

Steve, Tracy, Kathy & Pam,
I am so sorry to here about your father's passing. My parents were Lamar & Paula McCash. My dad worked with Jim for many years at various banking institutions and he lived next door to my grandmother for a while, waiting for your family to move here. I don't know if you remember or not, but we had some great times with your family when we were all very young. My brother & sister were...Lamar Jr. (Bubby) and Becky. I have nothing but good memories of your...

Sue and Family;
I consider it a gift that I was able to know Jim. What a great guy and what a sense of humor. I am sure the Angels are all laughing. And, I am sure he has a "tee time" all set".
Remember the good times, because with Jim there were plenty of good times. He helped make them so. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To all of Jim's family,
We join you in mourning the loss of Jim, or Peek, as we always called him. Jim was a good friend, a fishing partner (who wouldn't stop even with a hook imbedded in his head), a golfing buddy (who left at least one club hanging high in a tree), a barrista who invented the deadly Rockport Slide), and a great father to his children. We are happy that he spent his retirement years in Rockport, a place he loved. To Sue, our heartfelt sympathies.

Dear Sue, Tracy,Steve,Kathy & Pam and family,
My heart hurts for each of you as I know that Jim's passing has left a huge void in each of you. The last time I saw him was his retirement party but that didn't stop me from thinking of him often. He was such a great friend and the best boss! His friendship and wise counsel carried me through some difficult times in my life. I can't wait to see him again and I know at least one of his jokes or stories has already put a smile on God's...
