Not sure what to say?

A great guy, a great pool shooter, but a dear friend. You will be missed.

I liked Jim a lot from elementary school and beyond. I did not see him very often but we always talked when we could and he was a good and loyal friend. Will miss him. I knew his mom also.

Beth and Bob, I just now saw Jim's passing online. I am so sorry I did not get to visit you at the service. Jim was a fun guy to grow up with on Kings Road. Jim was always the "baby brother" in my eyes. May you draw comfort from your happy memories. God bless you all...Sherri Lee Cox

Beth, I am thinking of you and Bob today. I don't think I ever met Jim but sounds like I missed knowing a great person. We just lost my father-in-law this weekend. HIs funeral was yesterday and it's hard at best.
You have my thoughts and prayers. Jean (Mace) Silver

Huss was a very good friend and classmate of mine at Shelby High
I loved watching him shoot pool and will miss our conversations over a pop at the club

Jim and I have been close friends and neighbors for more than 45 years. He was always a kind, generous, gentle person of the highest integrity. He was a gifted athlete. His appreciation and knowledge of music were legendary. There has never existed a better host or forum for gathering of friends than the basement of the Perry home. Since I left Shelby almost 40 years ago, I've never returned for family visits without spending special time with my friend Jim Perry. Coming back "home" to Shelby...

I was a close friend of Jim's for over 30 years. I will surely miss my good and dear friend. There is no person of greater honesty and integrity than my friend Jim. May you rest in peace, dear friend.
