Not sure what to say?

He was my Grandpa. I loved him so much! I wish I could have spent more time with him.

Messing with the internet and ran into the shocking news of JR we're trying to move back to POW and was hoping to visit you both. Our mother Dorthy passed in Jan 2010. Always thinking of you and yours. Donnie Peterson Santa Fe, NM 505-753-7646

I worked as a Permit Tech for CBJ with Jim. He was one of the best people I had the pleasure of knowing. I will always remember him for his pleasant demeanor, ability to make me smile & the jokes he used to tell me as well as play on me at work.

He truly was a remarkable man and I will miss him greatly. My condolences to Jim's family.

But a very few know of the ground and sea my dear brother JR and I covered. I know Pam, Jo, and the girls are aware of my sorrow. Men don't come any better than him. I can't go beyond Jo's statement, "we're all just numb."

Spent a few days with Jim in a cabin at Young's Lake hunting deer. True test of a good guy. He liked to do things the right way.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. Jim was a quiet man and earned the respect of all the tradesmen that came in contact with him.

We are so saddened by the loss of such a great man. Gary and JR were army buddies and JR was in our wedding in 1970 The two of them remained in touch up until the time we moved from Juneau in 2000. Be comforted knowing he had touched so many and was truly one of a kind. Gary & Karen Phillips

Dear Pam and Family, We are shocked and saddened to hear the news of Jim's passing. Our hearts go out to all of you. Jim was the kind of person we would always speak with in passing, and he would always leave us with a smile. Sorry we can't be there in person for the open house, but we are with you in spirit.
