Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace Mr. Phagan-May you have an eternity of peace-you'll finally be able to meet your Aunt
Mary-and you'll be with your son Michael-rest in peace

I would like to send prayers and condolences to the Phagan family at the loss of their patriarch. I know how important Mary Phagan-Kean's family is to her.

Growing up with the Phagan family was very precious to me, and I will certainly miss Mr. Phagan's wisdom and his comic side. He was like a father to me and I will always hold him dear to my heart. All my love to the family.

I will miss his smile and his energy, but ultimately his love to serve his fellow veterans. James is one of the best examples I have ever seen of what a servant is and I said it in present time because I know that he is still serving others. My prayers goes to his widow and his family. God bless.

Mary, You and your family have been in my thoughts so much in the past few days. I know how close you were and how much loss you must be feeling right now. Please know my prayers are with you all.
Much love,

I want you to know that my prayers are with you all.

I was saddened to hear of Mr.Phagan's death i considered him a good friend and someone that would help others. I also enjoyed his humor. I will miss him as well as many other people here at the VA.

To the entire Phagan family, I wish you celebration and sadness in your loss. I have worked with Mary for a long time and the pride and closeness that she had for her father is an enviable quality. My thoughts are with you during this time and hopes that your sadness will be eased by the fullness that Mr. Phagan enjoyed during his life.
