We want to send our prayers for Jim's family. We were neighbors of Jim and Alma's before we moved to Hoodsport and really enjoyed them. Jim was always so friendly and he really cared about people. We're sorry to hear about his passing. He will be missed.

Jim Phelps was a good Christian man. I have met him several times. I believe that he is in Heaven with Jesus, and also with Alma and Lee. I will be praying that God will comfort Jim's descendants during this time of loss.

I was so saddened to read about Mr. Phelps passing. We all can find comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord and Saviour. I met Mr. Phelps and his wife Alma (Pie Mama)through my banking career. We always had the best conversations centered around his family, which he so proudly talked about. On health issues we would promise to pray for each other. He was always bringing us pie and we always teased him about how we ate the pie and gained pounds and he stayed so slim. He would just give us...
