Not sure what to say?

It was a pleasure meeting and working with James in our capacity as Florida Ridercoaches for the Florida Safety Council here in Melbourne. We taught a number of classes together and he was always interested in the welfare of the class participants, not only during class but how they conducted themselves on two wheels. I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend the memorial service in Titusville today, December 3, 2011. A prayer for peace for the family members. Jim will be missed, but I know...

My heart has been heavy all day after reading of Jim's passing in my Florida newpaper this morning. I have known Jim since he worked vice with the TPD. He was a dear man and although I have not seen him in several years I am saddened he is no longer physically with us. RIP, my dear friend - you almost made it to the Marine Corps birthday!

TO THE FAMILY OF MY FRIEND, JIM,

I KNEW JIM FROM MY DAYS WITH BREVARD COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT...SUCH A THOUGHTFUL AND SWEET MAN...ALWAYS A GENTLEMAN, ALWAYS.

HE WAS A LOVELY AND KIND MAN WITH A GENEROUS HEART AND A DELIGHTFUL SENSE OF HUMOR.

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE YOUR HURTING HEARTS AT THIS TIME BUT I'M PRAYING THAT HIS LOVE FOR HIS FAMILY CONTINUES TO WARM YOU ALL THROUGH THIS SEASON AND HELP TO BRING YOU PEACE OF MIND WITH REMEMBRANCES OF THAT LOVE SHOWN...

If I would ever be given the duty of re-writing the dictionary, when it came time to define the words, gentleman, honesty, friendly, helpful, dedicated and loyal I'd simple display a picture of Jim Pierce in that space.
Rest in The Glory Place my good friend, bask in the glow of God's face and be at peace in His loving arms.

I knew Jim for a LONG time through my career at the Sheriff's Office. He always had a smile to share and knew how to make lemonade out of lemons!! His smile will be missed along with his jovial demeanor that uplifted everyone!

Retired Agent Don Dalton

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Jim. Jim was one of the two guys that got me in to law enforcement and i will never forget all that he did for me. He took me in, let me live at his house, got me in to the academy and basically took care of me when i was a long way from home. I am upset with myself that I rarely took the time to see Jim because we all got busy. he was one of my favorite people to be around. god bless, Bob "Bobby" Blovsky

Marion, there is no way to measure how much Jim will be missed. The hundreds of people he touched as a friend and the thousands he touched during his public service. Jim dedicated many years to the people of central Florida as a police officer with Apoka and Titusville Police Depts. Then almost 30 years with the Brevard Co. Sheriff's Office. In his retirement dedicated his life and a great deal of time honoring the memory of those who gave all for their citizens. He was a mentor to many and...

Jim and Sam at the 2011 Brevardlawride doing what Jim loved to do.

To the Pierce family. I first met Jim in the mid 70's. He was always the the light of every room he entered and every heart he touched. He will be missed. God bless to each one of his family and friends.
