I recall Ruck Steger bringing Jim to my office and asking If I would work with Jim on life insurance sales with the New England Life. I also remember asking Jim, some years later to be one of my sponsors to the Union League Club of Chicago. I later recall as almost all of the directors left my first Bd of Directors meeting, and only Frank Patton (who later become Club President), and Jim, "what do you two feel I should be wotking on as President?," and both replied getting women to membership...
