James Pizachala

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Pizachala's passing. He really was one of my all-time favorite teachers. Very mild-mannored and friendly. My favorite memory was of a game he called 'The eraser game'. We would all hide in certain positions around the room, and toss the chalkboard eraser at each other. If it hit you, you were out. You weren't allowed to move your feet, in the act of trying not to get hit. I won one time on a miracle toss at a kid hiding behind a bookcase. That was the 1974-75 school...
