I do not know the Place family personally but I saw Jimmy's obituary in the New York Post and I felt an obligation to offer my condolences. My brother lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis in November of this year at age 22.

I will keep Jimmy and the Place family in my thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to you all.

Jimmy was a remarkable young man. He never allowed his condition to define who he was. Instead, he made a mark for himself that was nothing short of virtuous. His unwavering smile and sunny disposition never ceased despite any health problem he faced. He was a wonderful student to teach. Jimmy left an indelible mark in my heart. Mr. and Mrs. Place, Melissa and Jesse please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of such a beautiful boy.

When I first started at MKB Jimmy was 5. He came to work with his Dad during vacations. Melissa and Jimmy followed Dave around helping him with whatever he asked. He was always so polite and helpful! We will miss you!
