Not sure what to say?

Kindness should have been his middle name.with Peggy.

Condolences and prayers for abundant comfort in Jesus to Jeff and all Dr. Poirot's family from my husband Felix and me, Sandra Goertz Higgins of St. Bartholomew.

Dr. Poirot was the professor who got me started on my career in technology that later lead to years of service as a Vice President of Information Technology at a college. I am so happy that I got to see Dr. Poirot a few years ago at a CPAA meeting and was able to share my story of success with him. I'll never forget the look in his eyes for my story as one of his budding students of technology from 40+ years ago, Fall 1981, brought tears to his eyes. He will be missed. Jessie White...

Peggy & Family........Jim will be remembered by his Chi Rho Fraternity Brothers with the traditional gold bar on the fraternity crest with the passing of a Charter Member of Chi Rho, founded at Texas Tech on March 23, 1964. Over the years, Jim has stayed in touch with his Brothers and supported our alumni scholarship endeavors.
Peace and prayers during your loss of Jim...........Randy XP02

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Dr. Poirot's weekly phone calls kept me going. He genuinely cared about his students and their success. I will definitely pass it along.

My thoughts are with the entire family over the loss of such a wonderful solid man. May you find peace as he surely has.

Jim was a great person, first and foremost. He always made everyone feel welcome and appreciated during all the time I knew him. Jim was innovative and thoughtful in everything he did and whatever he said. He was a brilliant mentor to many faculty and students over the years. He loved everyone and made sure we knew it. Thank you for all you did for all of us. Your warmth and kindness will be missed.
