It's been 22 years since Jim left us. I can still remember his presence like he was here yesterday. A month before he left us we had breakfast in his garden Apartment at Park LaBrea. Jim was telling me about his travels home and sharing old pictures. He was giving me pointers about getting my photographs published and overcoming racial stereotypes.
