Very sorry to hear of Jim's passing.He was a great friend and will be fondly remembered.Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

I have fond memories of Jim during the time my brother, Steve, and I worked at Smith's with Jim. He was quite the talker; my whole family thought he was a great person. To Jim's family, I am truly sorry for your loss.

His fellow soldiers of the 27th Infantry Brigade and the New York Army National Guard mourn the death of James A. Polly, who served our country well for many years. I recall Jim from our service together in the 1970s and 1980s at Fort Drum, the East Genesee Street Armory, and elsewhere.

I have know Jim for a number of years and soldiered with him, I found him to be a great friend,mentor and soldier. I will miss Jim at our monthly breakfasts. Jim rest in peace as you help protect God and all those in heaven. Good by my friend and I am looking forward to seeing you once again.
