My prayers go out to Mr. Pompa's family. I was fortunate to meet him through New London Middle School. My son had him as a 6th grade teacher and he was one of my daughter's first volleyball coaches. Mr. Pompa will be greatly missed by the students in the New London School District. He had a strong influence on the lives of so many young people in our community. Part of his legacy he leaves behind is the impact he had on so many through his teaching and coaching. And he often told his students to "Make your path wide and don't take the easy way out". Mr. Pompa made learning fun. God's blessing to his family and friends.
