Not sure what to say?

I will always think of Dick as an amazing raconteur. He´d led a very interesting life, he was smart, and he told a story really well. He always had interesting things to say. But he was also a generous man, with both his time and his attention. He was very kind and patient, especially with our father as he aged and grew more cantankerous. My aunt Sally and Dick were wonderful hosts to our family when we visited them in Thousand Islands Park in NY. Dick was clearly a caring soul and he will be...

Sally, you and Dick were the ultimate duo. I'm so sorry for your loss. Wishing you strength and peace during this difficult time.

I will always remember Dick as an infinitely patient and caring man. As my aunt Sally's long-time husband and fellow adventurer in life, I saw them both during visits at Cape Cod and at their summer place in Thousand Islands Park in NY. Dick was always the consummate host and guest. He was easy to be with, was knowledgeable across a wide field of topics, was an excellent storyteller and would bend over backwards to make sure you were enjoying yourself. I appreciated his patience with our...

My deepest condolences Sally to you and your family, it was an honor to help you with J.R., and listening to his great stories. God Bless

Dick was a kind and generous man. He had a big personality and a big heart to match. He was a natural storyteller and I enjoyed hearing his anecdotes and memories from his interesting life when our family gathered. We loved visiting them at their lovely waystations in life - Alexandria Bay and Wellesley Island. Dick was generous with his time and took wonderful and gentle care of both his father in law and my father as they aged. Our family will miss him. Our thoughts are with Sally as she...

Sally -- I hope that you can find peace and reminisce on happy memories during his long life. My kids and I are thinking of you and I remember how you were with my mom, his daughter, to the end. I am forever grateful for that. We will see you soon. Love, Jenny.

Heartfelt sympathy to Sally and family. We´ll miss you JR. Great memories of our times together in Florida. Rest In Peace dear friend.

Was very saddened to hear that Pooler had passed away. He had a really good life and had his wife, Sally, whom he adored, to share their lives together. Pooler was my father's best friend since childhood and I would like to think of them up there celebrating once again. Always enjoyed hearing stories of their tales of the old days and letters. My heart goes out to all his family and friends at this time.

Don, Thinking of you in these hard times.
