James Poortenga

My sympathies to the Poortenga Family. I always had respected Jim since working for his Tree Service for two seasons in the early 1990s

I lived on Visser place when Jim and Sue lived next door. My parents were Frank and Henrietta Kwiatkowski. We were good friends. I also remember he lived on Boston st where he lived around the corner from Ralph and Nellie Bergsma which were my husband´s sister who had triplets. What a small world. Jim also brought wood chips to us. I remember Ken. I don´t know if you remember me. We also knew Vonnie. We went to her funeral and met with Jim. I am 74 yrs old now so I was teenager when Jim...

I'll miss seeing Jim at church and our engaging conversations about business, trees, and his climbing adventures. Sending condolences to Doug and Anne and children.

Dan and Family, I'm am so sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. I pray that your hearts are mended with time and your sweet memories of your time with him last a lifetime.
