Not sure what to say?

James was a really great guy - I got to know him well when I worked at the King Charles Inn - we had many fun times together - especially when we went fishing and crabing - Pat- he was very special and will be missed. I wish I had stayed in touch after I left Charleston.

Uncle James , you will be missed. We send our prayers and sympathy to the family, we are sorry we were not able to attend .( Son of Evelyn Poulos Burgess)

Dennis, It's been a while since I last spoke to you. I am sorry for your loss.Call if you need anything. I am still with the SCHP.

I WENT TO CHURCH WITH DENNIS AT ASHLEY RIVER CHURCH OF GOD AND I WOULD LIKE TO LET DENNIS AND ALL OF HIS FAMILY MEMBERS KNOW HOW SORRY I AM FOR YOUR LOSS. I LOST MY HUSBAND
DOUG ON MARCH 13, 2005 AND I KNOW HOW GOOD IT IS TO KNOW YOUR FRIENDS CARE IN A TIME LIKE THIS.
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU.

Uncle James
You will be sorely missed. I know you're in a better place, but I can't help but feel sad. I Love You.

Our families go way back through good and bad times. I like to remember Mr. Poulos as I knew him to be. He was always joking and picking on us kids. We sometimes a children did not understand his humor, because he would like to give ya a little scare to keep you straight. So half the time we didn't know wheither to laugh or say "yes sir!" LOL Now that I am older I realize he just liked to have fun and give us a hard time but in a small way let us know he was watching us and we better stay out...

How saddened I was to learn of Jimmy's passing. He was a kind & caring person, & a great friend to have. He was already with the Chas. Police Dept when I started, & we had many years there together before he retired, & thus I retired several years later. I saw Jimmy not long ago at the Dr's office, where we both went, & we had a nice, long conversation reminiscing about our years of working together. He will truly be missed.
