Not sure what to say?

At an event in Washington DC I was given James E Powell's name as part of Armor Down's mission to "mindfully" honor the service of our military men and women, I volunteer for an organization that raises, trains and donates service dogs to wounded or disabled veterans. I coordinate the therapy dog program. We visit military retirement homes, USOs and hospitals. My therapy dog, Dolley, will pay tribute to SPC Powell every time she comforts a veteran. That's my way of honoring his memory.

To the family and friends of Spc. James Powell:
Please accept my remembrance of James on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

After this happened they had shut the phone service and net down due to casualities, which was common practice. But,I knew something was wrong when my husband didn't call home that night. He would always call after a mission to tell me he was ok. Later I recieved a call from the CO's wife. My heart sank... when she told me what had happened. Two days later my...
