James "Marcell" Poynor

Marcell was a great brother and friend. I loved him so much. We hunted together all of our life and done many things together as brothers. He loved God and received Jesus as his savior just a few years ago. I’ll miss him. But will be with him and my brother Ottis and Daddy one day and especially with Jesus my Lord. Like I always told him. Later on I love you.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I sure hated to hear about Marcell. It was many years ago that I first met him, and found him to be an honest and likeable man. It is times such as this that we learn to lean hard on the Lord Jesus; and that is perfectly okay. The Bible tells us that:
A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth. Ecclesiastes 7:1.
