James "Jim" Alan Poynter, age 64, of Largo, Florida, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 27, after a nearly four-year battle with stroke recovery.

It doesn't seem possible that you're gone. I was talking to you one day and you were the next. Good memories though of you, Bonnie and the boys when we lived in Florida. Will always remember our recent phone calls and your words of encouragement. Dance with Jesus, Jim. You'll be missed.
