Not sure what to say?

Tula and Family, What a surprise it was to see the notice of Jim's recent passing. we are so sorry for your loss. I'm a long-time friend of Jim and his great family. I grew up across the street and spent time with his older children. As others have said, Jim always had a smile on his face and warmth in his heart. I was one of the neighbor kids he occasionally employed to collate booklets his company was printing. Tula and my mother remained friends till my mother's passing...

To our very good friend Jim and family. He was truly a diamond like his middle name. I will never forget his smile and kindness. Never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Always number one to help in the community. I hope he went peacefully! He had a great life and a huge loving family. We all loved him. Memory Eternal. May God rest your soul.

Many years ago as teenagers (late `70´s/early `80´s?), my brother Jim and I worked for Mr. James Prokos when he owned the Portage Lake Cottage Inn (now Riverside). We both have very fond memories of working for Mr. Prokos. He (and the entire Prokos family) always treated us with fairness and great kindness. I can still hear him singing "Oh Danny Boy" when I would walk into the store for work. His enthusiasm always energized me for the tasks ahead and of course made me feel a little special....

Enjoyed working with Jim at AAPM both while I was still at the U of M and later when I started my custom Ceramic Plate business. Last talked to him when he was working events at UM's Crisler Center.

Gary and I worked with Jim for over 10yrs at Michigan sports. He was such a kind & loving Man. We enjoyed all of our time with Jim. God Bless

Tula and Family, What a surprise it was to see the notice of Jim's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking. You were both the first ones to welcome me to my new home 5 years ago. It's not going to be the same without him. He always had a smile on his face and a warm greeting whenever I would see him... and a True Blue Michigan Fan right up to the end. I know God is looking down on you now so know you're in good hands. Jim's in a better place now and is also watching over...

Rest in Heaven Jim! Thank you for always being kind. You were a pleasure to work with. Go Blue!
