Not sure what to say?

I have always thought of Grandpa and Grandma's house as home. Throughout my childhood as we moved around, we always came back there to visit or stay with them. Both Grandpa and Grandma always made me feel at home and loved. One favorite time for me at their house was playing "McDonald's" with my sisters, and Grandpa was our server, wearing the McDonald's hat.

Grandpa was such a wonderful man. He had a way of making each of us grandchildren feel like we were special. He used to tell me...

It was a very sad day when I was notified that my uncle had passed away. We were born in the same house in Western OK that your parents had built after homesteading the 160 acres in Western OK in 1902. After your parents moved to Custer City you stayed with my Dad and Mom to finsh the school term at Midway and during that time was when I was born. When I was about 6 or 7 a friend took Dad and me to OK City to see Uncle Lloyd and a Aunt. You took us for a ride in a car that had a rumble seat...

I REMEMBER BEST HOW GRAND A PERSON JAMES WAS TO EVERYONE HE MET AND HOW HE ALWAYS SHARED A BROAD SMILE THAT MADE YOU FEEL "WELCOME" WHEN HE WAS AROUND. THAT SMILE LIVES ON IN HEAVEN TODAY. JOHN 3 V.16

Dad helped me and loved me in so many ways.

He was just such a kind, caring, loving "Dad" to me. When my own father died in 1964, Dad said "I'm your Dad now.

We had a lot of fun playing mixed doubles in tennis with each of us calling the ball "yours".

The first time I had mexican food was with Dad and Mom and all "the boys".

Dad carried an IBM typewriter down several blocks to the old downtown library so I could take the Civil Service test, the beginning of my...

It would be impossible to ever abridge the influence Grandpa has had on my life. I still make pancakes and bacon every Sunday for my family and each time, I think of him.

Everytime there's a good football game, he's on my mind. We always had great times calling each other to congratulate OU after a touchdown or, better yet, laugh at OSU after a fumble!

He taught me so many things and I will honor him by passing his legacy on to my children and hopefully, to their...

Precious Memories, how they linger...Grandpa lives on in so many treasured memories...telling jokes, playing "Up and Back", taking us out to eat, sharing life's adventures. He always had a story to tell and he never missed a birthday. We all knew we were loved. I'm so proud to be his granddaughter. I love you, Grandpa!
