Not sure what to say?

JIM/DAD/GRAMPA - what a person! Cannot believe how he has impacted SO many people by being a very easy-going, non assuming, respectable person. It shows how one does not have to be a screaming JOCK-type athlete to get the respect people believe should be there! It exists because few of us can be the real type of Human Beings we should be. And that is why Jim Quarles stood out in a crowd. He was a HERO to many as a decent kind of a regular guy and a really good athlete with great ethics.

Aunt Sue, Tim, Don and Pete,

When Uncle Jim smiled, everyone around him smiled. Always cheerful, interested, a great recipient to the ''big bear hug'' and definately an inspiration to those of us who were fortunate to have shared time with such a special man. Memories of the family gatherings...St. Sauveur, Rosemere, Mt. Washington, Tremblant, etc. will forever be close to heart. Karina and Jake were also fortunate to have shared memorable times with Jim in more recent years. Good...

Dear Sue
Bev &I are saddened to learn of Jim's passing. He has been a friend and mentor to me since we first met in St.Anton in "67" and later as my boss and leader at S&Q. Jim gave me my start in sporting goods which has lead to a long career for which i am ever thankful. We have had fun times for many years and so many memories to cherish. Our sincere condolences to all the Quarles family. Randy and Bev Hooper

Dear Sue,
I was not quite ready to do this but has a true mom, you make me do things I don't really want to do sometimes! Here we go.
You don't often realize how a person have touch your life and your heart until he/she is gone.
I don't have a very special moment or sport to remember. I do have in memory the little routines we had the 3 of us.
I am and will miss our almost weekly calls when Jim would answer the phone and ask me: 'hey how's the weather in the great North? What's...

Dear Sue,
Our sincere condolances from the Lukas family from Austria.

I remember going to the cottage and being dragged up that big mountain 'Baldie' with my brother and Grampa Jim. In the end it was amazing...I was sooo glad they brought me.
I just want to give my wishes to the rest of the family going thru this tough time with me. Thanx-xo

To the Quarles family,
I was on my skis one day, thinking about Jim witch I did not know from his sports career. I knew him in another way. I was remembering this last spring, when we were working up North (at the cottage)and he wanted to buy a camper. At one point I asked him why he wanted it so much. He said 'I've always wanted one and I think the time is right, it might be my last chance'. He then said
'I don't think I will be at the Marathon this year, so I would like to...

Dear Sue and family,
What a man, what a role model, what a sportsman, what a classy guy. We are blessed to have known him. The world is a better place for his friendship and enthusiasm to all who knew him. He shall be sorely missed by all of us.

Sincerely,
Graham, Johanne & family
