Fred was a dear friend to me in HS and my visits to Floyd over the years. He hired me to help him put up hay bales one summer. We washed bread pans all night in Roanoke. I will always remember Fred as a compassionate person. Fred often visited the residents at Skyline Manor with his beloved pup at the time, Cody. He and Cody brought happiness to the lives of everyone they visited. He was patient, kind, and shared his artistic talents to enhance the Activity Program at Skyline Health and Rehab. Angels do walk among us. My condolences to all the loved ones he leaves behind.
