It truly is hard to believe that 4 years have passed. I just went to my calendar tonight to write Jimmy's name on April 18th. I will never forget the day that Carter was in AFG with CSM Patton and got on Skype and told me about the loss of Jimmy. My heart sunk, my head dropped and silence took precedence. In that silence, we prayed not out-loud, but to ourselves. Our hearts broke. In that moment, the LORD shed light in our hearts...a light to shine on as we continue to remember his great...

I can't believe I am searching and I found these beautiful messages about Jimmy. Once again many heartfelt thanks to all of you for remembering. We are coming up on four years and it feels like yesterday the pain never goes away. It will stay with me forever. But reading these messages helps me to know just how much he was loved by so many. I am sorry for your families loss. I did not know about James until today. All I can think about is James as a young man at Ft Polk and Ft Benning running around the house grabbing beers for us all. Greg and Sheila you have always been in our heart and my family appreciates how you all looked after us. James was a great Man and Soldier. God Bless you and your family!
