I just learned of Jim's passing and had a phone conversation with Paul Ramey. I remember Jim as a big cousin from the Rothbury farm of my aunt and uncle. My father's name and brother's name was Jim Ramey. Another loss for the Ramey family and I send my sympathy to the Ramey family near and far !

What a terrible loss. Jim will be missed by so many friends. What wonderful memories I, and other co-workers from the post office have from being part of his life. Such a gentleman. God bless your family in this terrible time. One of the nicest people I ever had the privilege to work with.

Jim was an amazing man. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I was just 13 years old, when my friendship with Julia began. He was never "Jim" to me because from the beginning he said I could call him dad. He was kind and funny, always teasing me about my name. I had the privilege of being in the room with his family when he passed into Heaven. My love goes out to all of the Ramey family... Dad will be missed by many.

We lost a great friend, mentor and a true gentleman. You will
be sorely missed,Jim.

Jim and I were classmates at Montague HS, Class of '59. I remember Jim for his great smile and friendship. My prayers to his family. God Bless.

My prayers go out to the families.

White Lake Senior Center is where I first met Jim. He came there for a pedicure every couple months for many years. He was always a joy to converse with. Hearing many stories about his family. His sense of humor always shined thru.
I was shocked to hear he'd passed and my sympathies go out to his family a friends that I'm sure will miss him greatly.

It was a pleasure to work with Jim at DuPont for many years. My condolences to Bobbie and his entire family. Linda Maitland
