Read MoreI met Jim when I was 4 or 5 at my, his Grandmothers home in Ossining, NY. We never met again. This showed up as part of an Ancestry search. I remember a music room in my Grandmothers home and I recall that is was for James. My deceased older brother interacted with Jim when he was briefly a teacher at Ossining High School in the 60's. Sad that we never connected again.

i was so lucky to have been in two of Dr. Rankin's classes. He was a brilliant teacher who could explain a concept in alternate ways so that every student would be able to understand. He is a fond memory of my time at the U of A. My condolences to his family at the lost of this great man.
