Jan & Ed

We extend our sympathy to the family and many friends of the Ravas family. Jim was truly one-of-a-kind, in a good way. He will be missed.

Wayne and Lisa Johnson

Marilyn, please accept my sympathy. May you be comforted by the knowledge that Jim has gone to live in a place where there is no more pain or suffering. He is at peace at last. While his absence will be felt, I pray your life, too, will be full of the peace that surpasses understanding. Please remember the Engelbelles will always be there for you. We love you and pray God's love follow you.

The world just lost a great intellect with a remarkable wit. Someday I hope find out how he knew or remembered all that stuff. Our prayers go out to the family.

My memories of Jim are dear and my respect for him is great. He gave so much to see other people succeed that it led to his own success in life. My prayers are with the family. Warm Regards, Mary Anne Walk

I was deeply saddened to learn we had lost Jim. He was not only an unparalleled source of knowledge and expertise, but also extremely patient and generous with his time when dealing with "baby lawyers." Jim never lost his sense of humor or perspective and remains a role model to all of us who learned from him.

You will always be "Mr. Ravas" to me. I'll never forget our years together in Labor and how you kept all that history in your head! I'll remember the late nights, weekends, old t-shirts, jokes, and dedication you gave to all of us. You gave me the desire to excel in whatever I did, especially in being consistent! God speed and blessings to your family.
