I'll always miss Mr. Read and his "firm - take control of the situation" attitude. I admired his ability to maintain his opinion on any subject whether he was right or not.(Not that he was ever wrong)I'll always be grateful to Mr & Mrs Read for taking me into their home when I was a teenager in need many years ago. I know he's just fine now and love to all of his family.

Barbara;
The Captains Club joins you in your loss of Gordon. Without his untiring efforts our club would not have existed. He continued his support through the years. He will be missed ;however, he left his mark on our community.

The heart hath its own memory, Like the mind, And in it are enshrined the precious keepsakes...{Longfellow}
We can't know why sad things happen...we can only know that in time, the pain will go away...and in it's place, the beautiful and special memories, the keepsakes of the heard will always remain....with sympathy....love, Brenda Gilbert
