Not sure what to say?

I first met Jim almost 30 years ago when he came to work at West Jordan City as an intern. He was always friendly to me and treated the other employees fairly as a City Manager. My condolences to Susan and family.

I'm sorry to hear about Jim, I worked with Jim in West Jordan he was a great person to know and work with Our pray are with your family

Susan and Family,

Jim is one of my oldest and dearest friends. As you know, I met Jim in Virginia when his sweet family became part of the Williamsburg Branch, following a redrawing of ward boundaries. It is no surprise to witness the man that Jim became. They say that if you want to be a great man, you need to be a great boy. Jim was absolutely a great boy. He had a way of befriending everyone and in so doing he made a difference in the lives of people who knew him. I also...

To Jim's family - You might not ever know the impact that Jim has had on the lives of so many professional colleagues. I went to him on several occasions for personal and professional advice and he was always so thoughtful, caring and interested in helping out. I looked up to him as I'm sure so many others did also. I was honored to know him and to be his colleague. We'll all miss his good nature, great example and his never-ending contributions to elevate the lives and circumstances of...

I worked with Jim at West Jordan City. He was enjoyable to work with. I will remember all the practical jokes he would play on people. Sympathy to you and your family.

Susan and Family - I first met Jim when I went to work for West Jordan. His knowledge of the City, and his love for the City, permeated his every action. He not only welcomed me, he inspired me through his example to be a better person and colleague to the family of employees at the City. He had every capacity at a very young age to be an outstanding City Manager. Yet, at that time in his career he preferred to be away from the limelight and to quietly and effectively influence public...

I am so sad to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with him at the City of West Jordan many years ago. He was a wonderful manager and his employees loved him. He was such a character. He was mischievious at times and loved to tease and joke with his employees. We all shared many good laughs. He loved talking about his family. I remember him especially talking about Clark when he was a young child. He had many hilarious stories to tell us about him.
I am so sorry for your loss. My...

I worked with Jim when he was with West Jordan City and recently at Orem City. What a tremendous, likeable, pleasant guy! And what a shock to read of his passing. Condolences to all his family. Brent Overson, former State Senator and former County Commissioner.
