Not sure what to say?

Janet and family,

We join your many friends in embracing you at this time of loss. You and Jim go back to those wonderful days in the Panama Canal Zone. We remain part of your extended family. You and Jim have a lifetime of good and loving memories. May God give you strength to take refuge in those memories in your days ahead.

I want to thank you and Jim for your generous and loyal support for the Panama Canal. Jim will be remembered on the museum's Wall of Honor.

Dear Janet,

We learned today of Jim's passing and are so sorry and deeply saddened at that news. We weren't aware that he was ill and we pray that he didn't suffer too much. We have fond memories of you and Jim going all the way back to those wonderful times at Balboa High School; and even then, it was clear that the two of you were meant for each other. We know you will miss him dearly and hope that you can find comfort in knowing that you both have many friends who care for you...

Janet, I am sure that the entire class of '56, Pedro Miguel expatriates and all who know you and your family are sad that Jim has left us for the time being. You were stalwarts always in your example of righteous living. May our Heavenly Father comfort you and your family but also help you to rejoice in knowing that you will see Jim again.

Janet:
I join your many other friends and relatives in offering my sincerest condolences. Jim was a great man and cherished member of the Class of "56". May God bless you and your family during this difficult time.
Bill Hatchett

Janet and family - our condolences to you in the passing of Jim. May you remember all the wonderful years you had with him. You both will be remembered by your classmates of BHS56. Susan Knapp Light (Harvest, AL)

Dearest Janet, We are shocked and saddened to learn of Jim's passing. John informed us today. We had no idea he was ill. Unfortunately, our lives get too busy and we lose touch with those wonderful people that we think so highly of. Please know that we are thinking of you. Unfortunately, Steve has to have hip replacement surgery next week, so I will be unable to contact you until we are through with the procedure and rehab. I will try to catch up with you in the meantime. I see that...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jim was an outstanding man who loved his family and who was proud of his hertiage of being a Polk family member. He always thought of the museum and I always looked forward to Jim's visits. We will always remember him! May God Bless the family.

Praying for His Presence to fill your hearts and homes in special ways and comfort you at this time of loss. Shirley
