JAMES FERGUSON "JIM" REID III

Jim and I were first friends and playmates, born a few months apart in Lindsay in 1951. Our parents were best friends, fathers were co-workers, both engineers. My mother helped deliver Jim at Lindsay hospital. We were separated for a year when we moved from Lindsay to Tulsa, then re-united when both families moved to Albuquerque. Re-united again in the early 70's in Abq. We both lost our fathers a few months apart in 1970. Jim was great fun, he had a joke, whether we were on the Sandia tram...

It was a delight and pleasure to work with Jim at High Desert. He was a good friend and colleague. I only knew Jim for four plus years, but he had a great sense of humor and always had a twinkle in his eyes. God speed on his next adventure in the Spirit World and blessing to his family and wife.

I knew Jim peripherally through his wife Ann, and I saw that sparkle in his eye whenever I encountered him. I am confident that sparkle is the life that lives on.
