Not sure what to say?

I was looking at the intro to Streams in the Desert and wondered how Aaron was doing from that difficult time in 1995. I was saddened to see Jim has since passed but see that Aaron was blessed with life after that 1995 episode. I am grateful for this devotional and send prayers to Aaron and the family of Jim for blessings in your lives today.

Thank you, everyone, who has been posting over the years. It is extremely helpful to be able to read everyone's comments. My mom and I led two tours to Israel, one in 2014, and one in 2015. Since then, I've led one in 2018 and one in 2023. I started planning one in 2024, but because of the unrest in Israel, I had to cancel. I'll lead another one as soon as it is possible. Please continue to post! Thanks!

I am so sorry for your great loss, dear Reimann family. I have recently been gifted a copy of My Utmost For His Highest revised by James. No doubt, I would have trouble comprehending the original version. It has been a tremendous blessing to me. Only a Spirit-filled Christian could have accomplished all that James has done. You must be joyful knowing that James is in the arms of our Savior. May the Lord's presence continue to strive with your family.

I've been reading some of his commentaries lately and was on Amazon checking out a replacement for my worn out copy of Oswald Chamber's My Utmost for His Highest and saw where Jim had gone home in 2013! I've enjoyed his (Jim's) writing and was shocked that he died!

Jim inspired us with his Digging Deeper teaching on Monday evenings at The Church of the Apostles in Buckhead. We were indescribably blessed to join him, Aaron and Courtney on the May 2008 tour of Israel and Jordan. All of us who knew him were blessed by Jim's ministry, teaching, authorship, kindness and friendship. To Pam and your family, prayers and joy to know we shall all meet again in Christ's glory.

I remember what a wonderful time of the year each Christmas that Jim and I had at our stores. So many people would come to shop and be blessed by all the books, cards, gifts, music and Bibles that we carried.
I miss those days when we would call each other to see how God had blessed our sales. I was always amazed how Jim would help me out when I was in desperate need of a book or Bible for one of my customers. Pam, I will always be grateful for Jim's friendship and guidance.

Pam, Donna & family,
The Lord really had you all (Jim, Pam, Donna & Ben) on my mind and in my memory last night. When I began searching for everyone, I didn't know I would find the news of Jim's death. I'm so sorry for your loss, but I know God will provide you with his peace and reassurance to help you through the tough times. I have had a lot of losses in my own life. My father, Attorney Fred W. Minter died 4 years ago, and Mother, Miriam D. Minter died last year. My only brother,...

I travelled to Israel in 2000 with James, was saddened to hear of his passing. Was looking forward to going to Israel again in the fall of this year with him. GOD bless his family, our loss is heaven's gain.

I am so sorry to read of Jim's death. In his youth while searching for his path he met with my father many times when attending Clairmont Hills Baptist Church. My mother especially remembers Jim with fondness. God bless and keep you all.
