Jim was a great companion on our many space law conference trips. This is in Montreal in May 2014.
I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to Jim's family and friends at this time of deep loss. The death of an esteemed colleague and friend is a real blow. Jim's presence at the many space law conferences we attended over the years added so much not only to the substantive part of the experience, but perhaps even more importantly to the fun part. Jim could tell the best stories from his many travels and career postings. I still think about some of the stories he and his DoD associates...
