I was lucky to know Mr. Renken. Jim Renken is the Southwestern Bell Telephone leader who took a chance on my being 1 of his 3 sales managers in 1981. Because of Mr. Fancher and Jim, I got to move from St. Louis headquarters to Dallas in March 1981. I am grateful for Jim's vote of support. And I am delighted that he joined our SWBT/AT&T reunion in October 2003. It was wonderful to see him there. Evelyn and Family:
Words cannot express Vicki's and my sorrow in the loss of Jim. He was one of the most positive persons I have ever known. We always looked forward to and so enjoyed our visits with Jim and you.
Knowing how Jim loved corvettes, in Jim's honor and memory, we will be making a donation to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY. This will purcahse a Memorial Brick with Jim's name inscribed, to be laid in the Museum's entrance way.
