Not sure what to say?

Dear Sandy and family,
I was very sad to hear of Jim's passing. I remember him from high school as a very smart, kind guy. I know that all of you will miss him terribly. Please know that all of you are in my good thoughts and prayers.

John and Nancy,

I was saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. I remember him as a
gifted student /athlete and a loyal teammate. I offer my condolences to you and to all
of your family members.

Dear Jim's family,
I read the obit in the T-C. I have often wondred how Jim was doing.
His mother and I were good friends (I still miss Dorothy) so I heard all about her boys for years. I remember a delightful day when Jim rigged up two boards so we could roll her in her chair into his van. Her Coles County Council on Aging Volunteer of the Year qualified her to be a guest at the state Volunteer Award luncheon in Springfield. Jim had checked out the accessible entrance...

My name is Greg, and Jim is my father. I would like to tell everyone about how great my Dad is, all the wonderfull things he did in his life on earth, all the people he touched, and how he and my Mom made me the man I am today. However, that would take too long and everytime I think of one thing, another pops up.

My Dad is great.

Those of you who knew him, already know this. Go tell your family you love them, my Dad did everytime we talked/wrote/e-mailed.

I recall Jim fondly as one of the "cool guys" of high school who ALWAYS had a smile and pleasant comment for everyone he encountered. He was a gentleman at every age and I was honored to have known him in our youth.

Jim was my best friend during high school. I wasn't as good or as smart as Jim, but we became fast friends on the basketball and track teams. I especially remember going to his house after school and practice. We were like brothers. Dorothy had to calm us down more than once as we found her family room to be a grand mini-basketball court with trash cans for baskets and wadded up paper for balls. I also remember that Jim and I teamed up to be the best on the track team in avoiding running...

John and Nancy,
I was so sorry to read about your brother's passing. Please know that Dave and I are thinking and praying for you both.
