Paul McCartney tells a story about the first time he saw John Lennon playing on stage in his band. Lennon apparently had forgotten the words to the song and sang words to another song, also making up lyrics on the spot to get through. I am so saddened by the loss of Ed Reynolds. He was an amazing songwriter, and I am honored to have played music with him. He will be missed by so many of us in the Birmingham creative arts community!
