Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of visiting the family, years ago, when I was lucky enough to work with Jim. He was a wonderful colleague, a good friend, and a great dad. The Riccardi home was filled with much joy and energy. I am so sorry for your loss.
Much love.

Kate, I never had the pleasure of meeting your dad, and after reading all of these amazing tributes, I realize how lucky I would have been to have met him. What a wonderful spirit and what great fondness everyone has of him. I am truly sorry for your loss and keep you and your family in my prayers.

It was a privilege to play music with, and learn from Jim. He had a very contagious passion for music! Jim shared his talent generously, and frequently took the time to encourage and tutor those of us who were not quite as talented. I am grateful to Jim for all that I learned from him, and for how good he made me feel about myself as a musician.

Those of us in "String and A Prayer" have shared many stories about Jim among ourselves over the past few weeks, as we recalled his...

Martha - We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts.

Most Sincerely,

Riccardi Family,
I had the pleasure of playing music with Jim for over twenty years. He never lost a beat. I had truly looked forward to playing with him again. I will think of him often.

Jim made a difference in my life with so many words of encouragement. A sweet man who raised me up many times. He is with the angels now and probably playing keyboard in their band. Strongsville City Jazz will have a huge void now...he will be missed

Jim was the most talented videographer that I've ever had the pleasure to work with, but more importantly he was the kindest and most gracious as well. In the video business, that combination is rare.
My prayers are with his family.

Riccardi's:
After losing a close family member years ago, an aged family friend said to me, "There comes a time when we should realize that if our prayers to heal our loved one are not working, we should pray that God takes our love one."

I hope you find solace in these words.

On several occasions when I was in Mr. Riccardi's presence, I observed a wonderfully quiet and caring dad and grandpa. Riccardi's, my thoughts and prayers are with you in our loss.

We have such fond memories of having gone to see Jim play with his Jazz group in the park and other establishments. What a joy Jim showed on his face as he played. He was such a fabulous musician.

We were blessed when Jim came to join our music ministry at St. Brendan's Church ASAP (A String and a Prayer). It was Jim's musical talents that helped make our dream of true contemporary music being sung in our masses come true. We are so grateful Jim joined and helped make this happen. We...
