I have lived in a unique neighborhood where neighbors were friend and also like family. I worked out of town and JR rescued me with car tows back to Greensboro. I loved traveling the street to have a curbside conversation and play with his fancy little dog. I am saddened to hear of the passing of a Dudley Heights icon. I recall him out in his yard on Pichard Street with his fabulous vehicles. He was forever friendly and helped countless neighbors who had car trouble. My late mom, Charlotte C. Swann, relied on him to get her car started. I lift the family in prayer.

My Prayers is with the Family. JR was a very special friend and we always rode our motorcycles together. He always called me Brotherman.
