Not sure what to say?

Jane, I'm so sorry to have found out about James. I remember when we lived down the street from you all in Irving what a kind man he was. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I miss you Jane.

Jan Santopolo

Dad set a wonderful example of how to live life: to be patient and kind, to look for opportunities to be of service to others, and to be gracious and respectful.

It is a privilege to be his son-in-law and to be part of his family. We will hold him in our hearts and do our best to live our lives as well he lived his.

Jane,

We were so sorry to hear about Jim's passing, and regret we couldn't attend
the funeral.
Please know you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers, and we are thinking of you all during this difficult time.

All the staff of the Heritage Sr. Center would like to express our condolences. We had many years of friendship with Jim. His assistance with Tax Aide and Defensive Driving provided much needed service for many seniors. Thank you so much for sharing him with us for so many years.

I am so sorry for the loss of a lovely and kind man. I met Mr. Rider when Martha and my sister were attending Sul Ross....I was / am impressed by the kindness and gentleness of this family man.

We first met Jim when in 1960 when we moved to Irving with the Boy Scouts of America. He was an outstanding volunteer scouter and I relied on him heavily. He was and is the perfect example of what scouting is all about. I have many wonderful memories of Jim that I will always treasure.

Jane, I had the privilege of working with Jim for many years at TP&L and through the TXU merger. As I recall he retired at the same time that I did. I have fond memories as I am sure you do about the TP&L Christmas Party days, when we had the opportunity of showing off our families. Jim was so proud of his family and I know you and he have many found memories. We are never fully prepared on loosing our love mates and I know your strong faith in our Lord and Savior will care you though...

Sorry to hear about Jim, I know all of you will miss him very much. He was a very generous man and a great friend to me.We spent many hours talking on our way to work and back from Irving to Dallas, I rode with him many years. I learned very much good wisdom and recieved a lot of good advice from him over those years.Would not take anything for those times.

Jane and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. It was my privelege to work with him at TP&L for several years. I learned a lot from him and shared a friendship that lasted till his retirement. Just from knowing him, he must have been a great dad and husband. We will be thinking of you and remembering your loss.
