James Rives

James was born on December 10, 1934 and passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. James was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. He served in the United States Air Force and the Army National Guard with his last duty assignment as Logistical Operations Officer with the 30th Support Group as a Lt. Col. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Chapel Hill in 1990. Funeral Services will be held, at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church, Chapel Hill, NC with Rev. David Atwater officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with full Military Honors.
