Mr. Roach was my teacher at Reagan High School. He was a wonderful man and inspired me to continue my education. I remember he was always studying the bible in between classes. My condolences to his family.

Mr. Roach was my teacher for three years. He was very inspiring in the classroom. He was not just a math teacher, but a teacher of life. Though I had not seen him since I left Reagan, I thought of him often. I felt an emptiness when I heard of his passing. He will be missed. My condolences to the Roach family. May God be with you during this difficult time.

Then I heard a voice from heaven say,"Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on, they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them. (Rev 14 (13:14)

Mr. Roach meant so much to me over the years. He was teaching at Reagan when I came here as a student in the mid-70's. He was the math dept. chairman when I came back to teach in the early 80's. He was a wonderful teacher and mentor.
He will truly be missed but long remembered in the mathematics education world.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Sonya, Sheila and Sharon: I am so very sorry for your loss. I was shocked when I saw the notice for James this morning in the paper. James was always smiling and always a true gentleman. If I had known earlier I would have attended the services. Peace and God's blessings to you and your family during this time, take it one day at time, know that God's grace and mercy will get you through this time of sorrow.
