Please add my condolences for the loss of Travis a champion and a Giant.

I first met Travis and other members of the family in the 1950s, when I started to help teach our summer geology field course when we bunked at Tom and Ann Leary’s Ranch. Travis once scolded Professor Bill Muehlberger from UT-Austin for driving a bit too fast on a ranch road. That gave me the impression that maybe Travis was a bit grumpy....
