Not sure what to say?

I met Fr. Jim at the worst moment of my life, when my daughter was dying at Lowell General Hospital. She was airlifted to Children's and didn't survive (a 6 week old girl). He was an amazing source of strength and comfort at the lowest point in my life. He said the graveside mass for my daughter and then 2 and 4 years later baptized my two other children. HE WAS AN AMAZING GIFT from GOD. I thanked God for him everyday. I am deeply saddened by his death. I wrote him a letter recently...

Dear Sue, Kathy, and family,
I can only imagine what you are going through at this time. I pray that Christ will fill your hearts with peace to help you to get through these most difficult days following the funeral.
I think of Fr. Jim often, and I know that he is at peace with God. I have so many warm memories of him. I only wish that I had been able to see him one more time.
When Fr. Jim came to Notre Dame de Lourdes in Lowell, he brought his many gifts to our parish. After...

Father Jim was a good person as well as a caring friend. You will be missed.

I'm not sure if Father Jim's family will read this or not, but I hope they do. I moved to Dexter a couple years ago and Father Jim was my Priest. I never really talked to him for the first 2 years. 5 days before he passed away, I was at Subway and he was in line in front of me. He recognized me and started up a long conversation with me. He told me he wanted to get to know all of his parishioners. At mass later that night when I went to receive the Host, he said "The Body of Christ, Jared." I...

To the Family of Fr. Jim,
Words cannot express how much he will be missed. He is the only preist that my kids felt that they knew as they are 7 and 9 so he is the only preist that they remember. When he was on vacations and my girls saw someine else walking down the aisle they would always ask "Where is Fr. Jim?" Fr. Jim always spoke highly of all of his family. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow.
