Not sure what to say?

Even though my thoughts about you Ross are two years after your passing, I have always treasured how transparent you lived your life. I used to joke with you that you and a Democratic counterpart would have made a great Ombud pair for the City of Charlotte to regain its center and calmness while processing a highly charged issue. Am sending you and your fellow collaborator Jean my love.

Mr. Ross leaves a legacy of smiling in spite of adversity, persevering through trials, and living life authentically. It's an honor to have known such a man. Thank you for being all that you were and inspiring those of us still here. Rest peacefully.

My condolences to the Mrs. Ross and the entire Ross family. Although, I did not know him long but I could tell from the moment that I met him that he had a strong yet calm spirit. You can tell alot by a persons demeanor and he was certainly one of the best people that I had the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. My deepest regards and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know losing a loved is hard to go through. I hope you can gain comfort from God's future promise.

Dr. Ross, you will be missed greatly. Although the love and respect will continue. Blessings

You will truly be missed,I met Mr.Ross after the murder of my son and I remember the smile and the gentle way he Said"It is okay to be angry",I didn't realize until that day just how angry I really was ,but thanks to Mr.Ross and the care and compassion He gave I am the person I am today His legacy will live forever.R.I.P Mr Ross.

Men (and women) with hearts of love, like James Ross demonstrated, made my dad's job easier during the early "busing" years of CMS. Our European exchange students also felt welcomed at the old United House of Prayer for All People.
