James R. Rother

JAMES R ROTHER Retired Vice President of Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, Virginia, passed away on June 14, 2010. He leaves his wife Arlene Rother, his son Jeff Rother, step daughters Cathy Brodie, Judith Dowd, Bonnie Bednez, and close family friends Susan Hansen and Cindy Fournier. He was predeceased by his Mother and Father, Joseph A Rother and Helen Shugrue Rother, and his brother Joseph Rother. Jim was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1960. He served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964. He began his career at Navy Federal in 1968 and retired in 1998. He was a resident of Marco Island, Florida since his retirement.
