Dr. James Rowe

Jim Rowe was a very dear friend. He was a highly intelligent scientist, but never sought to impress others with his knowledge. He was a exceptionally humble man. Jim spoke with a gentle voice and I can't recall him ever saying a harsh word to others or about others. Jim loved the outdoors, we enjoyed many hikes together in the Virginia mountains. I will miss my friend of the 1950s in Norman Drive, known as Youngers Hollow where my grandparents Walter and Mame Johnson lived. Jimmy and I had great fun all over those hills and on Grandma's front porch swing.
