MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY. I WAS A STRATTON HIGH SCHOOL MATE OF JAMES. HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. I, WAS NOT IN HIS CLASS BUT I REMEMBER HIM WELL. MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Jimmy was one fine young man while he was at Stratton. He was ahead of me in school but I remember him on the basketball team. Our teachers, parents, and neighbors instilled in us to be all we could be. Some students came from professional families and some who were coal miner's children but we showed love and compassion for each other. God truly had his hand on us and we have exemplied the AGAPE LOVE that God has for us to all of our fellowmen. Minister Elinor Mann Agee

To the Rowland family Please accept our humble condolences in the passing of your Loved one! I only knew him from family functions and at a funeral, where he was amazed that I am from West Virginia and we talked on the subject for a good while! I will never forget that conversation!
