Not sure what to say?

hey, vicki. didn't realize it's been a year. i think of you and your family now and then, hoping you're doing okay.

I just learned of the passing of my lifelong friend JH. My deepest sympathies to Vicky and family. JH was a wonderful person from grade school through college into Hoboken and on with our lives. He always made me laugh. He loved his family and his community. I am so saddened by this loss...

While it's been decades since I have spent any time with JH, I fondly remember his relaxed demeanor and friendly nature. I am quite sure that his adult years, work and family LIFE celebrated his wonderful spirit. It was a pleasure to have shared some time with him in my youth. Condolences to his family and friends. Godspeed.

My thoughts and prayers are with J.H.'s family during this difficult time. J.H. will always be an inspiration to me. I was lucky to have him assigned to me as my mentor at Stone & Webster. We met frequently to discuss the best ways to handle the many challenges that surface when transitioning from college to working at a large firm. He took his role seriously, listened more than spoke and always encouraged taking the high road and doing what was right. As young professional I did not realize...

My sympathy to your family during this very difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with JH years ago at Stone & Webster. He was a true team player.

It was with great sadness that I heard this terrible news. I hadn't seen JH for over 20 years but my memories are of a lovely man who along with Vicki extended so much warmth, friendship and generosity towards me when we met in Boston. It was a privilege to call him a friend. Thanks for memories you were a huge part in one of the best times of my life. My thoughts are with Vicki and his family at this time.

What a shock to learn of JH's passing. I was standing on our HS field today watching my daughter and a fellow HS alum shared this sad news. I have not seen JH in the years since we graduated but remember him well. Funny, easy going, and a friend to anyone smart enough to be interested. I am not surprised to read all of the wonderful thoughts from all of the lives he touched. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Vicky, Nick, Darcy and Stephen,
We so wish we were still across the street and not across the country, supporting you in your time of need. Know that you are constantly in our prayers and we are just steps away for anything you need in the weeks and months ahead.

I am deeply saddened about JH's passing and very sorry for your family's loss of a such a wonderful and golden hearted man. I will always cherish the blessing of four years working with him as a friend and mentor. He will be greatly missed by all of us who were touched by his easy demeanor, sparkling personality, kindness, empathy, and unrivaled professional integrity. May God ease your pain and bless your family with JH's eternal spiritual presence.
