James Warren Ryle

James Ryle gave one of the greatest messages I had ever heard at a Promise Keepers' Conference around 1995 in Boise, ID. It was life changing for me at that time, and I'll never forget it. Something came up today that reminded me of that and I decided to search him up online. I was saddened to see that he is no longer among us, but I know he is with our Heavenly Father and in a much better place.

Was looking James up as rereading the best book I’ve ever read on Dreams ....Biblical but real.....love it! Tried to get another copy for my son but cdnt.
Seems like he was a lovely Godly man.

Wonderful man! I still remember his prophetic word over me 27 or 28 years ago in San Jose. "Are you gonna go the distance?" Yes! And a word about music... Thank you.

Other memories were funny - his glove story of the glaring police officer across the intersection, (Jas was missing his middle finger, causing the that part of the glove not to wrap around the steering wheel...) and "here she comes ona honda!"

I was at Boulder Vineyard in the beginning of James involvement. Great guy and great friend as well as pastor. He will be missed. Not sure why God prompted me to check up on him. Did not know he died. I was also there when PK started and was at some of the early meetings. Coach Mac first sought out Pastor Bob Oerter at First Pres Boulder. He found Bob had passed. Then God lead him to Vineyard. The vision God gave coach Mac was on his way to a Christian Athletes meeting in Colo Springs before...

Thanks, James for your prayers much needed in my younger days. Hard to believe so many years have passed. Im sure your happy with the Lord. While Pastor at the Vineyard in Boulder, you and Brenda touched my life. Thank You

he was once invited by our pastor Gary Hutchison for a mens fellowship and shared his life experiece.it was amazing.

On Sunday Nov. 11 at 7:10 PM I was impressed by The Holy Spirit to check on my former loved leader and founder of Promise Keepers James Ryle.

We attended Vineyard Church Boulder after we resigned from Resurrection Fellowship in Loveland Colo. as Counseling Pastors.

James was instrumental in licensing and ordaining us for a position as Chaplain in Rifle Colo. He also spoke prophetic words over our lives before we left Loveland.
